George Pogas 

Chief Financial Officer

George joined Johnson Memorial Health as Chief Financial Officer in May of 2026.

He brings over three decades of financial leadership and strategic expertise to the JMH team, with a strong foundation in healthcare finance and accounting, and a deep commitment to ensuring community-based healthcare remains accessible and financially strong for the communities it serves. George was most recently CFO at Witham Health in Lebanon, a position he held for over 20 years. 
 
In his role as Chief Financial Officer, George oversees all our financial operations, leads our finance team and supports JMH strategic initiatives. He earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential in Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Major from the University of Central Florida, where he also completed graduate-level coursework in the Master of Science in Accounting Program. 
  
George is engaged to Angie, an RN. Together they have six children ranging in age from 16 to 36, and are proud grandparents to two grandchildren with a third on the way. They enjoy making homemade pizza dough and sharing good food with family and friends, and love hitting the road to visit loved ones and explore new places together.
