Overview

GAD can occur at any age. The condition has symptoms similar to panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other types of anxiety.

Symptoms

Symptoms include constant worry, restlessness, and trouble with concentration.

Treatments

Treatment may include counseling and medications, such as antidepressants.
