Sherry Fabina-Abney

Sherry Fabina-Abney was appointed to the JMH Board of Trustees in September of 2025. A resident of Johnson County, Fabina-Abney graduated Purdue University with a B.A. in Communications and earned her Doctor of Law degree from Indiana University Bloomington.

In 1989, Fabina-Abney joined Indianapolis law firm Ice Miller as an attorney specializing in healthcare law. There she provided litigation, risk management and general legal services to hospitals and health care entities and professionals. Fabina-Abney retired as a partner at Ice Miller in 2022.
