• Johnson County remains under an ORANGE TRAVEL WATCH. This means road conditions are threatening to public safety and only essential travel is recommended. Under this level of alert, you should limit driving to necessary trips (such as commuting to work or emergencies), and organizations like businesses, schools, and government agencies are encouraged to implement emergency action plans. 

• Johnson County is also under a COLD WEATHER ADVISORY until 10 a.m. Thursday, with Wind Chills expected between 10 and 17 below zero overnight.
