Johnson Memorial Health has been named one of the "Top Hospitals in Indiana" by Forbes magazine.
JMH serves patients and communities throughout Johnson County, Indiana, south of Indianapolis.
To be eligible for this state list, hospitals were required to meet the criteria for evaluation on the national list and to have been given an overall star rating.
The methodologies for the list were based on vetted healthcare quality measures from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Provider Data Catalog (PDC). Forbes focused on best-in-class measures that assess different aspects of healthcare quality and performance. Ultimately, 781 hospitals made Forbes' state list.
Recently, Johnson Memorial Health earned a 5-star rating, the highest possible overall quality rating, from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services; and received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety.
